Terms of Service

By using Trivia Racing ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. The service

Trivia Racing is a multiplayer trivia game accessible via mobile apps and our website. We may change features, add or remove game modes, adjust rating systems, or modify gameplay rules at our discretion.

2. Your account

You may use Trivia Racing without creating a traditional account. Your anonymous account is tied to the device on which you install the app. You may optionally link your Apple account (Google coming later) to enable cross-device progress.

You can permanently delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the app (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and irreversible — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what is removed.

You are responsible for any activity that happens on your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us so we can revoke active sessions.

3. Acceptable use

Don't do these things:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use automation to gain a competitive advantage
• Harass or impersonate other players
• Choose offensive or impersonating nicknames (we filter the obvious ones automatically; manual moderation may apply for what slips through)
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our content beyond what's normally visible during play
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Content and IP

Trivia Racing's art, code, sound, branding, and other game assets are our property (or properly licensed). You retain ownership of any content you create (such as your nickname) but grant us a license to use it as needed to operate the service.

4.1 Trivia questions

Our question pool comes from three sources:

• Our own questions — written and curated by us; these are our property.
• Open Trivia Database (OpenTDB) — questions imported from opentdb.com, used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license.
• OpenTriviaQA — questions imported from the OpenTriviaQA collection, used under its Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.

Imported questions may be edited, re-categorized, and re-calibrated for difficulty based on real answer statistics. Third-party questions remain under their original licenses; this section serves as their attribution.

5. In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases (such as power-up packs and cosmetic items). Payments are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account — we never see or store your payment details. Prices are shown before purchase and may change over time.

Purchases are tied to your Trivia Racing account. Consumable items (e.g. power-ups) are spent through play and are not restorable once consumed. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy. Deleting your account forfeits any remaining virtual items and unlocks; purchases cannot be transferred to another account except through the standard "Restore purchases" flow on the same App Store account.

6. Virtual items

Any in-game cosmetics, unlocks, power-ups, or rating are not real-world property. They have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or sold. We may modify or remove virtual items at any time.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but make no guarantees. The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, network issues, or other factors. We are not liable for missed gameplay, lost matches, or other interruptions.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't promise the service will be error-free, secure, or available at any specific time. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date and notify you in the app where appropriate. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Inđija, Republic of Serbia, except where mandatory consumer-protection law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
