The point value is `(base + speed_bonus) * difficulty_multiplier`: - Base for a correct answer: 60 - Speed bonus: up to 40, scaled by how quickly you answered relative to the round's time window - Difficulty multiplier: Easy ×1.0, Medium ×1.2, Hard ×1.5 - Wrong or no answer: 0 points A round ends the instant all four players have answered — there is no waiting out the full timer. ## How the racing visualization works Track position is a function of `your_points / current_leader_points`. The leader is always rendered at the right edge; everyone else is rendered relative to them. This keeps the race visually tight even when scores diverge. The final round switches to absolute progress so the finish-line ordering is honest. ## Why it's different from other trivia games Most trivia apps are turn-based or solo, and treat your score as just a number. TriviaRacing is fully real-time, four players at once, and renders the standings as four karts on a shared track. A wrong or slow answer is felt visually as your car falling behind, not just a digit on a scoreboard. ## Important pages - [Homepage](https://triviaracing.com/) - [Privacy policy](https://triviaracing.com/privacy) - [Terms of service](https://triviaracing.com/terms) - [Sitemap](https://triviaracing.com/sitemap.xml)
